Overall: a 5.7 out of 10. Why such a low score? For one, don't get me wrong -- Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl was an absolutely amazing game, and created an un-matched atmosphere in a game which literally kept me playing for up to 8 hours straight. Clear Sky hasn't given me that same feeling of immersion I got with SoC. But the main reason why... is just how damn buggy this game truly is. SoC was worse at the start -- but Clear Sky is damn well near close to it when it comes to the sheer volume of bugs.
I'm completely, and utterly disappointed in the developers, for the fact that can release such a horribly polished game sickens me. Don't they test these games for hours upon end? Hell, the reason I'm writing this is because my game crashed on me again. The patch that was released today helped out quite a bit... but the engine is STILL poorly optimized, meaning even the high-end systems can come to a crawl sometimes, and I can't stress enough how poorly polished this game is. Ugh.

I will give this game 9 points out of 10, but i would take off 4 points for the bugs thats in the game. The idea of the game i perfect and the gamplay is thery intresting. But soooooooooo many bug ihavent seen in no other game. They released the game too soon.

9.9 out of 10. After .05 patch I had no crashes. I just cant get enough of that game. I'm not playing it now just because I'm at work.
Graphics are amazing. Weapons are chubtastic Upgrade system is awesome addition Factions add to re-play value Zone is more alive. A lot less scripted events. The HERD of bloodsuckers at night with glowing eyes running past me in the Garbage still gives me the chills (they didnt notice me) Snork ambush at Agroprom - how cool is that? Zoo and a helo at Duty base - come on! I just wish I could join bandits and go to their base - the "Shanson" music in their bar is awesome Limansk is a masterpiece. If you never been to USSR, you wouldnt understand though. Red forest is another masterpiece - to the last tree. The sounds alone deserve an Oscar.
I could go on forever like that.

I say 10/10 your right there is always room for improvements. but unlike most games that is the coolest part about SCS Moding. I make mods and skins so to me the game has no limits if you dont like how a part of the game is change it

I agree with 3scape about the bugs etc, there really is no excuse for these companies not thoroughly play testing these games before release, that said i think it is a very good game with great graphics and fantastic atmosphere. i would have given it a 9/10 but because of bugs only 7/10

i completely agree with u guys. this game sure has a lot of bugs..and yes...Stalker Chernobyl was good too. but it still is amazingly engaging and with recent patch upgrades i'm sure the crash factor can be substantially reduced.
