It should not be that hard. What you guys are fussing about javaw.exe, that is the Java Virtual Machine; just install the Java Runtime Environment to get it working. This .jar file is a self executable java file, just double click it.

Java Runtime Environment? isn’t that a standard program who Automatic gets installed when you install the normal java? because it looks like i have the same problem again it doesn’t work for me i have now windows 7 64-bits

it took me some time, but i finally found out, that vista doesn't have the javaw.exe in its system32-folder.
and since vista's search capabilities are rubbish, it took me even longer to find it.

    i found it there: C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe
and i got it to work with this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe" -Xmx256m -jar TWEditor.jar

it could be more user-friendly, but it works, and that's what counts! =)

My friend how are you doing? I hope you are doing fine. I’m the one you help with the TWEditor, i tried to contact you with a privet Message but it says that you Message box is full, so that why I’m sending you this Message because your privet box Message is full. I really need your help again my friend, I hope that you will receive this message.

In the target box of the editor, put in this run command (or just copy and paste this in the target box). Be sure that your directory is in the "C" drive, if not, just change "C" to the proper drive letter.

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe" -DTW.language=3 -jar "F:\Program Files\The Witcher\The Witcher Enhanced Edition\TWEditor.jar" -Xmx256m

Keep in mind, this is my example. So, if you look at where the "F" drive directory line begins, that's where you want to change the line for the editor as the editor itself should be in The Witcher's directory, as you can see by my example. I am guessing you have The Witcher installed in "C:\Program Files (x86)". Mine is installed on a secondary drive.

tommy6860 thanks for you post, but i forgot to mention something. i had windows vista 32-bits now i have windows 7 64-bits the problem is that i don’t have my java.map in the: C:\Program Files(x86) but in the C:\Program Files. and i tried to replace that what you said but it won’t accept it.

and when I try it normally without replacing it always get this Message:

    Exception during program initialization

java.io.IOException: Unable to locate The Witcher installation directory

    TWEditor.Main.main(Main.java:166)

Do you know why i keep getting this Message?

The downloads have help files in them as well. Anyway, you have to physically place the actual TWeditor in the Witcher directory as you can see in the command line I gave. Then you create a shortcut of the editor somewhere else, right click on it, choose properties and then add command parameters (I gave earlier) in the target window.. Also, there's a space between .jar and -Xm at the end if that made an issue. Look for spaces.

By the way, I have windows 7 64bit as well. It seems you may have an older version of java on your PC as this requires version 1.6, or you simply didn't have the correct spaces setup in the target window. You also have to have the correct version of the Witcher for the correct editor. Just in case, my version of The Witcher is the Enhanced version.
