Oblivion may have been glitchy, but both it and Mass Effect go down as some of my favorite games. I think it's funny how you see Fable 2 has being better than these games.
Haven't played Fable 2 yet, was talking about the first. Classics like this and KotOR are much better storywise...
Like I said its interesting at first but after awhile it loses its hold on you, an RPG should always keep your interest always leave you wanting more...I barely made it to the end of Fallout, after all that time I just wanted to get it over with...a crappy ending to say the least. That doesn't happen with KotOR, Fable or any good RPG. It keeps you hooked wanting more and more...
And be honest with yourself Mass Effect gets dull...go to this planet, find mineral, go to that planet fight bad guys, go to this planet drive around aimlessly...after you do it the 30, 40th time it gets brutal, carsick Mass Effect is a great game with a compelling story don't get me wrong but still suffers from these pitfalls.
It's about quality, not quanity in a truly good RPG. Better technology doesn't mean better games

Meh...Mass Effect was better than KotoR to me...but that's just my opinion. And I didn't care too much for Fable.
Yeah, to each his own.
I respect your opinion, I'll steal a line from Vladimir Lem.
