Final Fantasy VII Message Board  

I can't get past wall market, for whatever reason the side scenario of collect the key items so I can access the Dons mansion won't trigger. When I talk to the guard at the door to the Dons place he says what he's supposed to, but when I walk back I recall Aeris stepping out and saying something to me. That doesn't happen. I've tried using a save game editor to put the key items in my file, but they don't help either. I had this issue a year ago when I last installed FF7. This is my second time purchasing FF7, and I still have the same issue.

Is anyone able to offer some advice on what might be going on, or offer a save game file inside the mansion or shortly after it (that preferably is a legit save file).

I am running windows xp, and have used to patch to fix the bugs. Is this a lost cause? I have spent multiple hours searching numerous websites but I can't find anyone else addressing this issue so I'm lead to beleive that I'm just doing something wrong - but I don't know what. I've used multiple guides, even ones specific to Wall Market but I just can't get past it. Lastly, all the save game files that I have found thus far are much further into the game then I would like.

lol cant believe im answering to 08 post but you have to talk to a guy at the "honey bee" entrance, this place is located very bottom right side of wall market

once you talk to him, then u can go talk to guard at don mansion and aeries thing will trigger
