Hmmm Is it a Digi Download version?
The only thing i can think of is to look up how to edit your registry ( i know how but my way is not suggested). And follow the instructions on how to delete the CNC 3 files, after you uninstall the game.
If that doesnt work or you dont feel comfortable doing that, call Customer Support,

I HIGHLY SUGGEST AND TELL you to make a restore point before you do this.... you CAN permanently mess you computer up, deleting some files in here is just like messing with the windows32 folder. Do the steps below and look for either CNC or EA or one of the other game publishers. Then delete it by what says below.
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT recommend messing with anything else in there or doing this if you aren't very experienced in computers or anything dealing with its system. Yeah do at own risk.
Difficulty: Easy Time Required: 2 Here's How:
1. Click Start 2. Click Run 3. Type REGEDIT 4. Click OK 5. The Registry Editor will now open 6. Browse to the key containing the value you wish to modify. Click once to highlight the key. 7. The values contained in the key will now appear in the right pane. Right-click the value you wish to modify. 8. From the right-click menu, choose the action you wish to take: Modify; Modify Binary Data; Delete; or Rename.
