Any trainer for virtually any other game should work just fine with Vista if it works for XP, you just need to give the trainer Admin rights. (right-clicking and selecting in the compatability tab the admin priviledges) It's just Halo 2 that utilizes some very odd security methods... And probably some other LIVE- games that are available. Nice work

Yeah thats what what i was told. Soemone said it was the ultimate H2 patch. But i'v also read vista has memory protection. H2 is the only game i'v played on vista. Iv got a retail copy of H1, i'll install after. Then i'll grab the invisibility if you want.
Edit: Could someone try this test trainer for vista. I only added three options. Invisibility Invisible enemy Exploding enemy www.4shared.com/file/60645140/e63c912e/halo_2_vista_tester.html?dirPwdVerified=ed96ae16
see ? for instructions. I know i spelt Invisibility wrong on the tester but i didnt bother to fix it. Its only a tester. I missed an (I) lol

I'll test it I'll report back to tell you my first impressions here.
EDIT: Okay, I tried it on three different levels; Regret, Gravemind and The Arbiter. Explosion didn't work; I could hear a beep, but no enemies blew up. Some enemies did turn invisible but not all and it did seem to expire after a while, even if you didn't turn it off. Invisibility doesn't work for the Arbiter and although Master Chief does turn invisible when you press the flashlight button, he doesn't stay that way, so it's like having the Envy skull. the button X doesn't seem to work; it doesn't give out that beep noise and nothing happens when you press it, V doesn't seem to work either as even though it does beep, after you turn the flashlight/cloak on there's the normal timer until it expires. Don't know about C' functionality as the cloak still seems too buggy to report on that. Halo 2 is updated and I gave the tester admin rights as I do with every trainer on Vista.

Press C then X then V Dont wait for anything just make sure it you do it in that order. If you dont press v after X then the invisibility wont last long. I know thats stupid but it should work. premanent invisibility. Did you do that? X isnt a hotkey so it wont make a beep.
I also said it only works for master chief. Something you need to understand about the vista version, anything wrote into the memory will crash the game. Enemy invisibilty would probably need reactivating once and awhile. About some of them not turning, i cant really fix that. My main script changes everything. But im only setting the values not freezing them. I wonder if freezing them would help that.
Try the master inviz option by pressing the keys in that order. And report back. I'll probably need to make changes. Im not sure why the exploding enemy isnt working. Try shooting them in the head. I allowed for code shifting so it should work. If all that and it still doesnt work then i'll try some scripts. Not as safe but works better.
EDIT: I just had one of my vista testers test it while i watched through remote view. He didnt get it to work at first. Maybe my instructions wernt clear but the permanent inviz is working. He was pressing V after his camo was gone. It needs to be pressed during active camo.

Wasnt expecting it to work for vista. I know v1.0.4 has protection to prevent from writing to the .exe plus it has code shifting. v1.0.2.129 doesnt have any of that. I think vista has some security for microsoft games. Xp was easy to hack but vista is taking longer. The xp trainer writes to the .exe but this one will only change values using pointers. I think all the other trainers out do this too.
For everyone else, that inviz tester has been scrapped. I'v made a better one that works with arbiter too. Permanent and fully toggable. You'l only need to toggle it when a new level is started.
