Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Message Board  

Finished it last night. I enjoyed playing but I probably skipped about 75% of the cut scenes. I just had zero patience for these overly dramatic, slow and boring mini movies. The only great scene was the fight between Raiden and Vamp. Other then that, in usual anime fashion, the dialog sucked and there were WAY too many pauses in dialog between characters. It was frustratingly annoying and ruined what could have been the perfect game. And it bugged because I wanted to get immersed into the story, but I just couldn't. The scenes moved slower then a bowel movement after eating 5 bran muffins...

No, you dont understand. Most of the cutscenes sucked and were extremely boring. No way I could endure it again.

Well you should beat it again and try it in a different difficulty and then watch all cut scenes.

but it all worth it, because the plot it what makes this game so good!!!

i loved the game but i to skiped most of the mini movies apart from the raiden vs. vamp fight and the mom on the motorbike i mean come on

Yea those are cutscenes i would not skip ethier. But i think this is way better because all the other metal gear solids had cameras that weren't really behind them.
