does any1 having problem assassinating the king of merchants? it seems the memory doesnt activate it

does any1 having problem assassinating the king of merchants? it seems the memory doesnt activate it and also after u pass the mission where u have to kill 2 of the kings bodyguards dont u get a map where u can see where da heck they r located at? plz help help this poor noob
