Mongols Cant Be Defeated In Real But Yes In Game They Can Be Defeated By Bribing Them.We Have Ruled The World Our Great great fathers Gengis Khan He Concqured Most Of The Land More Land Than Any One Even Alexander.

If you want to beat them without using cheats, generally what was stated before. The getting a castle closer to where the invasion is and building cannon towers with a strong archer garrison and provoke a attack on that castle/city and send a troop in garrison to attack the attacker and just sit on your walls and watch them all die. That generally is the best trick without much loss.

However I would also build various assassins beforehand and just assassinate people in high% chance of success and level the guy(s) up. When the invasion begins. Try killing off as many of the generals as you can. I however will always keep a very well trained and experienced troops in a full army waiting for the invasion. By experience I mean all experience ranks, full weapon and armor upgrades and on the best of the best troops your faction has. Includes 1 General with good command stats. 4 heavy knights, 2 Pikemen. 4 Archers and the rest swordsmen.

The only reason the Mongols are so good is that there troops are well experienced. They generally can equal up to any normal European army that has no to little experience and a horde of re-enforcements. You take away there experience advantage by have one for yourself of the best troops available. Keep the heavy knights available to run off there calvary but more importantly there horse archers. Keep your pikemen with your infantry and specificly archers to fend off any incoming calvary attacks. Keep your archers to pin down the enemy inafntry archers and just charge the rest with your heavy swordsmen.

I usually can take down atleast 3 and sometimes 4 hord armies before my army gets wiped out from the numbers being thinned every battle. Cannons would also do nicely if you got any.

However I personally have found no end to the Mongol Invasion. I had defeated there big army the first time around. They took a heavily defended castle from me. Took a couple tries and last a couple armies trying it however I took that back as well. Guess what, another army showed up. I tried thinning it down as well and just started losing so much money trying to keep up with unit recruitment to make up for losses and upgrades for the units. I mean just for the 'Crusade Part'. Combined with the Euro front that you got to keep secured.

Last I checked regarding history, the mongols were defeated. There biggest mistake was invading Europe. However if you read history. Most of the european land the mongols invaded was taken without much of a fight because the people of those lands diddn't have the man power to stand up against as many troops the mongols had. Fear was the mongols key to taking a lot of territory without a fight. However the Roman Empire couldn't stand for this and out smarted the mongols in battle. The Romans with additional support from a few various other countries who lent soldiers including those of the land the mongols conquered. There army was defeated.

So generally in real life, yes the mongols can be defeated. In real-life and in-game. While I won't disagree the mongols were smart and a devasting foe. I'll give credit where credit is due. They understood the importance of archer and the ammount of archers they had was there only benefit in war. Most armies could not stand up to that many archers.

However they were not advanced, as smart as they were. The Romans were just superior in many ways. They had superior battle formations which some are known to be the best formations to stand up against archery. Such as the tortoise formation. Also each line of soldiers would fall back to be replaced by the soldiers behind them and move to the back of there formations for a breather. This tactic has worked well for the romans in defeating armies with larger numbers. Keeping there soldiers fresh.

They also had ancient artillery, large spear shooters (forget there name) that can impale several lines of men. They Romans were great for developing war tactics and were the most disiciplened soldiers of that time. Sorry to say but no mongol invasion could ever invade europe and win.
