I'm having a horrid time actually beating this game due to insane lag while driving the Mako towards the Conduit. Is there any known way to freeze or disable that countdown timer? I can't even make it to the bottom of the ramp before it expires and I have tried turning every option down or off in the graphics that I can.

If you are using the trainer, I used the F7 feature and just ran through, not worrying about shooting the Geth. It's when you stop to fight you get yourself in trouble. Just make sure to disable the option once you are out of the Mako.

Yeah that's not really an option because the issue is due to system / game lag. Something about that area just murders my pc , so the superspeed option is still just as slow and laggy as normal game speed. Thanks though.

Well one way may be to use the personal invuln from the trainer so you dont have to worry about damage then rotate your camera so you are looking directly down at the ground. This would prevent your graphics card from having to render anything other than the ground around your Mako.
Another possible solution would be to use the console command Teleport.
1. Aim your cursor at the location you want to go to (like the base of the ramp leading up to the Mass Relay. 2. Bring down the console using the ~ key and then type and execute the console command Teleport.
This should move your Mako much closer to the ramp.
One note I have had a couple of client crashes while using the teleport command so save your progress before trying it.
If Life was fair then every bad thing that has happened to you would have been deserved.

Thanks much , I'll give the teleport option a shot. Maybe if I'm lucky they will add in a freeze timer option in the next version of the trainer.

The F7 key is not for superspeed it's the strategy key, where it freezes all the enemies. Also, you could probably lower your graphics settings for this part of the game, just to get you through, have you tried that?

Yeah all graphics options are set as low as possible , would have been nice if they gave options to flat out shut things off like shadows and such. Tried the teleport command and it actually didn't work at all for some reason. Strange since all other command line codes work. Looks like I will just have to wait a couple of months until I can replace my vid card or they add a timer freeze option to the trainer , whichever comes first.

Well with my PC being a High end Next Gen Built just for gaming pc, i dont know about every ones card but if something in game dont look right with game settings then i edit it thru the card options then and fix any issues whats so ever, if i do edit thru my card its to enhance the games settings that arnt an option normally. But i really dont need to lower my FX for any reasons, i have all games on Max.
