For those who aren't willing to try every armor and weapon and know how the giveall cheat can be really annoying since you get 1400+ items in your inventory making it unable to change a thing.

I have tested weapon by weapon, armor by armor, amp by amp and omnitool by omnitool. Here you have the very best for each class. I'd like to remind you that the best were chosen by stats and not by beauty or personal judgement.

drop console by hitting Tilde or open up the the BioImput in C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect\Config and go to the line [Engine.Console] and type in below ConsoleKey=keyyouwant. I used Tab.

Keep in mind that every armor and weapon and tools will come from level I to X and X is the best so you can sell the rest or turn into Omnigel.

For Armor for each class:

Tali(Quarian): GiveAllArmor Manf_Kassa_Armor_Colossus
Ashley, Kaidan, Liara, You: GiveAllArmor Manf_Kassa_Armor_Colossus
Garrus(Turian): GiveAllArmor Manf_Kassa_Armor_Colossus
Wrex(Krogan): GiveAllArmor Manf_Geth_Armor_BattleMaster

(If you have tested all the armor you should see that the Cerberus one have more biotic/tech defense, but that shouldn't change much since the shields and armor are the most important. Also, there is another armor that might have more shield but has lower armor stats, so keep in mind that if the shields go down, you won't have a nice armor to keep your health high and you can always use upgrades to get a higher shield stats so the armor that has the higher 'armorstat' is the best.)

For Weapons:

For all characters: GiveAllWeapons Manf_Spectre03_Weap

(From pistols to snipers, the Spectre Tier 3 or Master Gear is the best by far. If my memory serves, Haliat weapons have more shots before overheat but their accuracy is quite low.)

For Omnitools:

For all characters: GiveAllOmnitools Manf_Serrice_OmniTool

(Liara, Kaidan, Garrus and Tali are the ones who use it, so if you want to use all of them, use the cheat only four times. Unless you use it too. That's five times. Duh.)

For Bioamps:

For all characters: GiveAllBioamps Manf_Serrice_BioAmp

(Liara, Wrex, Kaidan and you can use it. The very best.)

If you would like to know about mods, I haven't tested and probably won't either. There are too many and I don't want to wreck my inventory. I suggest you hit every box in the game to find the best ones.

very nice info. i used the give all cheat and reload a save without it cozz i get sick finding the best stuff.

do any of these give you the weapon upgrades or do you still need the giveall cheat for that?

You can use the GiveAllXMods console command to get upgrades for weapons and armor.

Oh, for the ones looking for money, you should know that if you use any of these cheats, you'll get lots of items, so you can sell the very best ones for a lot of credits!

Or you could just use the trainer...
