Note: Always make a backup copy of game files you intend on change so that you can revert back if needed.

Enable skipping intro Movies
If you want to remove all the introductory movies which play before you reach the main menu, there are several ways you can do this. The quickest is to right-click on your Mass Effect launch icon, select Properties, and in the Target box, one space after the last character, add -nomoviestartup. It should look similar to this:

"C:\Program Files\Mass Effect\MassEffectLauncher.exe" -nomoviestartup

This does not actually skip the movies but it allows you to press a button to skip while they play.

Remove intro movies

The files are located in: Mass Effect/BioGame/CookedPC/Movies
You simply rename them to something else.

Bioware: BWLogo.bik
Demiurge: db_standard.bik
EA: ME_EAsig_720p_v2_raw.bik

You can skip them without any command line modifiers by pressing escape.

Doesn't work for me.

try ENTER, it works for me.

Enter works for me as well, i'd rather see a way to pretty much skip the initial "movie" and perhaps even dialogue at the ship.

Spacebar skips dialogue.

Pressing escape works for me.

enter or space worked for me , nevertheless i didnt know renaming the intro movies would work.
