Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 Message Board  

Hey guys,
Dig the trainer, but it won't seem to work. I have version 1.02, and the game runs fine. I hear the "Activated" when I hit F1 and the corresponding number keys, but none of the cheats seem to work. No unlimited grendades, XP, lives, or any of that. That was when I first ran it. I shut my PC down over night, started it back up, and now whenever I run the game in story or terrorist hunt, I can't be killed, but neither can I make any kills. The only way I can kill or be killed is through explosives. Online play is still solid, but single player is shot because I can't make any kills.
Also, now any time I try to change my rate of fire, it crashes the game. Any tips, tricks, thoughts or suggestions?

That's very odd, never heard of that happening before. Trainers don't typically affect the savegames, especially where god mode is concerned. I have seen this happen if you used the savegame file and there are other threads on the board on how to correct it.

If you're hearing activated and nothing is being changed, something is blocking the trainer. Antivirus, antispyware, Vista permissions, etc. You shouls also be using the no-cd fix.

Well I'm running on Vista, and I have to run both the trainer and game as Administrator, and make sure my AV doesn't block my trainer, but I'm using the original .exe file and every option is working fine. =)
