Battlefield 2142 Message Board  

Hay guys
I am running battlefeild 2142 on my new vista home prenium 64 bit. The game installs fine but when I try to play I get an error message saying "C:\Program files (86x\Electronic arts\Battlefield 2142\BF2142.exe is not a valid Win32 application" Any ideas? Thx

Are you running game as administrator? Will need to be run as such. I had problem with 32 bit so good luck.

try reinstaling the game.

Does your computer support it.
Does the game work with 64 bit

I have had a similar problem, so I thought I should post it here. My problem is that I try to run the game, the screen turns black as it's launching but then it says that it has stopped working and that Windows will notify me if it finds a solution. I've tried a few things:
Running the program as an administrator, manually changing the screen resolution and running the program in compatability for XP.

Any help would be great, I haven't even gotten to play the game yet and would really like to give it a go!
