Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars Message Board  

There are many mods out there that instructs you put the Mod in a "mods" folder.

I have downloaded that Mod SDK application and when I place the mods that I download in "Mods" folder what do you do?

I checked that section(Game Browser) in in the luanch screen and cecked to see if my mod was ther it wasn't.

I also played the gamme and I didn't see my effects to take place.

So how do you install mods?

Anyone care to explain please.

well i didnt know there where mods for this,
so if i give you an idea ( dont know if it helps)

i hear you thinking wtf does this... well...
this game has a tonnage of mods and we have a program that installs these mods for you

it's called : Generic Mod Enabler ( jgsme )
you can download it here: Link
its free of charge and works like a charm

how to use:

*install jgsme in the root of C&C and run jgsme one time and close it gain.
* then go into the root of the c&c folder and you see a folder is created called MODS
*copy all the modds you want to have INSIDE the MODS folder
*start jgsme again and install the mods by clicking on them and make 'em move to the left itll make a sound when thr 'mod'is installed
*close jgsme and start C&C

now if this doesnt work, all you have to do is uninstall jgsme
get rid of the mods folder and youre done
nothing will be changed to the game itself becouse jgsme wil install the mods temporally
