Frontlines: Fuel of War Message Board  

I bought(downloaded) and updated Frontlines Fuel of War. (through Steam if it makes a difference)
I know I'm using 1.02 version
I downloaded the Mega Trainer but it crashes the game.

I double checked ALL files, redownloaded, even reinstalled the game. The game works perfectly without the trainer running. However as soon as I enable the trainer (f1) then load a game (or f1 once the game is loaded, I tried both) the game crashes.

Anyone have any advice?

Did you really follow these instructions:

Launch the trainer first,
then launch the Game and
then Press F1 while you are playing game.

Note you must be in the game with your character active to activate the Trainer.

I had no problems.

Yes. I did those exact things. I ran trainer. Ran the game. Loaded up my character waited for it load. Then hit F1... says 'Trainer Activated' and immediately crashes.

hm I think that Steam games or patches are different than normal versions. So probably thats the reason of crashing.Here try downloading patch from Link and then download a No-CD fix from Link.

I found a solution and not that surprising it was the one you suggested. I apologize. I must have missed the other post but I think the Trainer should mentioned that for Steam you need the other NoCD patch because that is (to me) not something that is intuitive, LOL. But anyway. It works now. Thanks a bunch.

my probelm is when i hit f1 it keeps saying activated

Hey guys, im having the same problem with the trainer.

Have done everything properly....1.0.2 patch

1.0.2 version trainer

Every time I am playing and press F1 it crashes, tried starting game first then trainer.... still no good...

Anyone have the solution?
