ok now u know how in all the other gta games how the cops would drown in the water well yea not any more so what do u think about that better or worse??

What about the steering in gta 4??

What about the cops not being able to find u if u leave out of their range??

I'm half half on this one.

I preferred the old driving physics. As far as cops go, I like the whole thing about getting away from them by driving and switching cars and stuff but it's a lot harder to get to that point in the first place. If you've played the mission "The Snow Storm" then you know what I'm talking about. You get swarmed and it's so damn hard to get away but once you get a vehicle it's a lot easier. Getting to the vehicle, now that's the hard part.

They really aren't that realistic imho, if you are going pretty quick and slam the steering around in a real car, you will turn, and the back end will spin out.

In GTA4 you never seem to lose the back end just from turning, but the car just carries on going in an almost straight line if you are going fast :s

The vehicle physics are bad, but the targeting and cover systems are worse. Indoors in tight spaces while trying to take cover or leave it you will often get hung up in corners or facing the wrong way while some guy is standing behind you blowing you away. The targeting should lock onto whatever enemy you have under your cursor. As it presently works, half the time you miss taking an easy shot at a guy standing out in the open because the targeting system has locked onto a guy that is closer but hiding behind cover. Or you get wasted because it won't lock onto the guy that is shooting at you but instead snaps around to some other guy off in another direction.

That's true. I died several times in the mission "The Snow Storm" because instead of leaving cover behind a wall Niko would take cover on another. Not to mention it wouldn't let me target people getting in my face but they could easily lock on and shoot me. It took me a while to knock out an effective strategy for that mission.

As far as cars go, I prefer sticking to the slow ones. The fast ones are just too hard to control. My favourite is the Blista Compact.

i kinda got better at the driving but its hard im just hoping that there is no mission that u have to get some car from one place to another without damaging it that would be so stupid and i would suck at it

i love almost every thing about this game better.the driving is some what better but still could use some work.the grafics nuff said.i still miss tommy but this guys ok.the storys ok.it lacks anuff cheats.the cars are way better then its past veshins.the guns cant say yet.i love how the trafic drive the cops drive some much better then the old ones the cops were a joke in the old one.o yeah the next person i hear say i hate a game becuse **in a vinning vocie**its to hard.say its to hard ill agree with you but dont hate a game becuse you cant beat it thats just dumb

I love this game! The driving took some getting used to, but I love it now...so much more fun. I haven't evaded the cops by using water yet...I've just out-driven them

Regarding the new wanted system...I also love it. The old one was so annoying; you'd get way out of their range and all of a sudden more would just spawn near you. This one is more realistic, certainly not perfect, but an improvement overall.

It also goes without saying that the new multiplayer is very cool.
