I have tried them out and have found that about 95% of the trainers still work as long as your using the correct version patch for the trainer. Only when you install a complete game change mod seems to change it enough to crash it. But FALCHE2 editor still works so you can edit your stats and with that you dont really need a trainer once you tweak them unless you get really stupid in the game. With armor code tweaked up above 25 you just about take no damagae except from the most destructive weapons and then not much.

Mm, there's no fun in it if you go as far as becoming invulnerable.
I never got cheats or a trainer for it, but I got a hex editor for editing character creation profiles and a text file to copy the appropriate modifications from. Sounds and, at first, looks complicated, but it's the easiest thing in the world.
I'd get 10 on all attributes and 300 on all skills. No invulnerability or money or items. I like it better this way.
Well, Fallout 3 is now out and we're all gaming it, so this is behind us, anyway.

After play Fall Out 3, I became curious with their ancestor so I play both Fall out 2 & tactics.
As fall out tactics BOS still had their Trainers. For Fall out 2 I can't find any Trainers, so I use Hex Editor on the save file and edit the hero/heroine character (which he/she hold the money) and edit the money.
For amateur, you only need an Hex Editor Program, window's calculator (to see the decimal number switch to hex code).
It's quite simple... Remember how much money in your hero/heroine, write it on the calculator and switch it to hex and find the money's hex code in the save file (which of course opened by Hex Editor) and change to FF FF FF for maximum number.
NOTE: (dec) 12345 ---> (hex) 3039 ==> but read it -> 39 30 on the hex editor. If the code changed to FF FF, your money will be changed to 65535.
Well, learn how to use Hex Editor and have fun editing ...

I would also like to see a working trainer or savegame editor please. I just found a 3 pack at Target that included Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics in one box and I decided to buy it for a bit of a trip down memory lane, but it would be nice to be able to mess around and explore without getting the crap beat out of me all the time. lol. Thanks.
Who cares how you play the game, winning is all that matters.

Agree playing this with a trainer would be nice cuz most of us dont have the patience to save/load and pass hours upon hours playing the same scenary as we did as kids...
