Assassin´s Creed Message Board  

i have windows vista ultimate 64 bit and got assasins creed through steam.. and not sure where to put the save game file.. thanks for the help in advance!

Now listen I'm not going to repeat ! You must put the files in folder UBSOFT ! C:\Users\Comp\Roaming\UBSOFT or just search for ubsoft folder (this is the easy way) !

isnt it ubisoft? and if it is .. i cant find it anywhere in my computer.. i can find ubIsoft.. but there is no assasins creed in it ... or any where near it... plus that address you gave me does not work even when i change "comp" to my user name...

Have you tried searching for Assassin or even just Creed?

Make sure you have a profile created because without one the folder may not be there yet.

this might help right click on the assasins creed run icon and click on find target and the folder for save game should be there if its not, like the others said look for a ubisoft folder it should be on ur documents and if its not make one. ohh and by the way maybe u installed the game in a different place instead of my documents.

Well the thing is... i dont have the retail version of assasins creed i got the steam version so when i find my assasins creed folder where you can lunch the game its here
"D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assassins creed"
and i tryed searching "assasin" and all that came up was stuff from that steam folder... do you think steam creates the save file and places it some where diffrent? i cant honestly find it :/ kind of annoying.. hope some one can show me where the steam version of the save games are. oh yeah i did make a user in assasins creed and already have gotten like a little bit through (right now :P) well anyways thanks for the help.. but i still cant find it.. does steam have another folder? or something?
