Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 Message Board  

The trainer does not seem to work with the direct 2 drive version. I do understand that the source for the download versions can be a bit diffident from the retail box product. I was just wondering if there would be a trainer compatible with the DL version at some point? or is there are any suggestions for getting around the issue?

Yes, two different things. Try the no-cd fix on the Steam ver.

Ok we purchased the Direct 2 Drive version of the game. Please take note of the following:

1) Our current trainer(s) work with the game already.

2) When you run the game, note the following version at the main menu and run the associated trainer:

1.01.74 : Run the 1.01 Mega Trainer

1.00.59 : Run the Mega Trainer (unpatched version)

3) If your Direct 2 Drive auto installs the 1.01 patch, please note that your version will still say 1.00.59 at the main menu.

4) If you patch using a downloaded version of the 1.01 patch and install it to your Direct 2 Drive version of the game, your version of the game will likely still say 1.00.59 at the main menu.

5) If you patch up to 1.01 and copy over the No-CD or No-DVD cracked executable, then you will see that your version is 1.01.74 at the main menu.

6) PLEASE NOTE THE VERSION AT THE MAIN MENU AND USE THE CORRECT TRAINER! IT DOESN"T MATTER WHAT YOU PATCHED UP TO, WHAT MATTERS IS THE VERSION AT THE MAIN MENU! AGAIN USE:

1.01.74 : Run the 1.01 Mega Trainer

1.00.59 : Run the Mega Trainer (unpatched version)

7) I imagine that the STEAM version is a similar situation. Please note the version at main menu-
