Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 Message Board  

How do you backup your current profile, as in rank and weapons? What file or folder is responsible for your game profile? Secondly, can anyone of you post the sound files? As mine were damaged/corrupted last time i tried to edit some stuff, do to the lack of the correct backup knowledge. Due to this i can only hear limited amount of sounds but the majority are absent.

There are the savegames. But the game has no manager for it so you can't name the characater which makes it harder to manage cheat and non-cheat profiles if yuo ask me.

Sweet. But do you know where the sound files are so i can attempt to fix them. Or can someone post them, because i cant hear enemy gunfire or my grenades exploding.

Ok i backed up my profile, reinstalled, and i still cant hear enemy gunfire or explosions. I can only hear my guns firing and that noise you make when you take cover. So, can any of you guys post your sound files? So t hat I can download them and put them in my Ubisoft folder.

Sounds more like a sound card issue with either sound drivers or compatibility with your sound card.
Have you patched your version to 1.01? It might just be something simple like speakers unplugged surround sound settings etc.
