Almost every time I run the trainer, the game crashes. Twice now the saved games have even been erased. I can not even find them in the file directory. Has anyone experienced the same?

Yes the same has happened to me. don't use the number 8 key for some reason when i use quick build it kicks me out of the game.and deletes my save game files.

i have similar thing where i use the trainer but without the game crash, however it doesn't save your game that you were playing currently so all the conquered terrain is lost.
