Acording to official reports assassin's creed was released yesterday...any chance i could find the good version at the local mall?

Got mine in the mail today from EB Games!
Does anyone know how to turn off the wide screen effect? I don't want the black bars on the top and bottom. I have it at 1024x768 and for some reason still seeing the black bars..
And I can run everything on High at the resolution with my XFX 8600GT XXX

I wish you good luck in finishing the game...i being a romanian,am gonna have to wait a lot more till i can buy the good version.
