Yeah, well you need only beat the last level for an alternate ending..

@m16_jackal... Yosup didnt make this topic to hear about how many times you've beaten the Halo series on Legendary.. If you want to brag about such things make a topic of your own.

The way I see it, Halo 2's legendary is the hardest hands down, Halo: CE comes in second place, and the Halo 3 legendary... is really not hard at all..

The real stragety is to use your GOOD weapons (ex. Sniper, Rocket) on the tougher enemies (Elites, Hunters) and use hit and run combo's on the lesser enemies, (grunts and jackals)

Thats basicly the only way I can tell you. If one strategy doesnt work, dont waste time trying it over and over.. try different ones untill you have the situation solved.

Good luck bud, never did fully beat Halo or Halo2 on Legendary...kept getting killed towards the end, too frustrating

Oddly enough though I did beat Halo3 on Legendary, but I think it was harder in the other games

H3 is pretty hard i agree

only recently getting this game the only advice i can give you is that the infection flood forms can be melee'd, easier with a shotgun, also, if you kill one another near it will usually die because of the effect of the exploding flood form, also, when in melee range with a shotgun, fire and melee together as quickly as you can...

I do have Xbox Live, but why would I give my Gamertag to someone who says I have problems?
Thanks for all of your support guys, but seeing as I beat the game on Legendary long before I purchased Halo 3, you're a little late I just didn't feel like updating a dead topic.
Mods can lock this if they please.
I seem to have forgotten about mentioning my Halo 2 run.
It was extremely difficult, but eventually, I prevailed on Gravemind, and finished the game in about four days.
The Halo 3 Legendary was difficult as well, I kept on getting stuck on the Ark, when you're supposed to find the LZ for Commander Keyes, and on the Covenant, when attempting to breach the Citadel. I completed it, however, within four days.
