its not the fact they the games are 'next-gen' that make then have bugs, its that the devolopers work together with publishers who rush them to release the games prematurely,
so that they can get paid, which means the devolopers need to release patches soon thereafter to fix the little things they couldve fixed in the beta stages if they hadn't been rushed.
you cant really see the same trend on console games as patches are harder to apply. (that probably doesnt hold true anymore now that consoles are basically computers in themselves).
long story short, its not the games or the developers fault for buggy games it's the publishers who rush the developers Though, keep in mind, its not always the publishers though, but more often then not, it is.
they dont realize that in the long run, bug free games upon release would actually net them more profit, as people will most likely recommend the bug-free games over the bugaholics to their friends.

maybe....frankly i like game of the japanes look at them they makes amazing games and without Problems but these producers of westerns they makes games with problems specially next-ge games they don't make it right
