i like the game sword of the stars and thought this one looked good but dont know if i should buy it or not what say you

If this is the first time you try on sci-fic space combat then I would recommend you buy it. If you have played Homeworld 2 before, the answer is ABSOLUTELY NO!

homeworld 2 thought it was a good game. are you telling me the combat is not even better then that and the fun factor is equal? thanks for taking the time and best wishes

I like all of the Homeworld, Haegemonia, Master Of Orion (1 & 2 anyway) and Galactic Civilizations games so this definately appealed to me. Personally I really like it. Its only real downfall is that there is no single player campaign mode so you just simply play on single maps all the time. It seems to crash quite a bit for me also (on version 1.02) but I think thats my pc. But seriously if you like your space strategy games give it a go

Its an OK game. The visuals are good. the problem I have with it is how the AI plays. Even though it has many AI modes: aggressive defensive, researcher.... they all seem to play the same way. they always send one ship a t a time into you planets. that you can easily kill. if you attack their planets. their fleet will just run away. until you get to their home planet. then they will fight a desperate battle. they never attack your planets with a fleet. i cant make it do that in any mode

I think its definitely worth playing and its getting great reviews from the gaming review sites and mags. Check out their website if you need more information.

No problem, glad to help. As far as the lack of a single player campaign mode goes, they are apparently going to include one in the next patch for the game, so I have read on the game's forums. We can but hope and pray, hehe
