The problem is PS is a memory hog,which freaks out Vista,and even XP has a rough time with PS.

It's not XP that has a rough time. It's your RAM and processor that aren't up to the challenge. The laptop that my university gave me works fine with Pro Street and it's running XP.

To be honest my home computer isn't up to it either. That's why I only play console games. I just play games on my laptop because I don't want to bring my 360 to university.

I play all my games on console. I used to play W.O.W. but other than that i have not put any games on my computer. I love the consoles. They work better for me and travel better too. (dont own a laptop)

The version also has something to do with it, if you downloaded v1.1 then you need to make sure it is the right one USA, UK, EU. if you installed the wrong one you will get a crash, i did. I also have a problem, when i beat a boss any boss, after the cinimatic comes up it crashes at the loading screen. can anyone help?
