hey anyone having problems with this game cause i am.at the begging auron says"we called it the "sin"" then it makes me appear in i mean litterly half of my guys body sticks out then it just sits there.and doesn't move at all

Im not really sure, because I can't tell exactly where you are, but it sounds like you may have a faulty game. Have you tried cleaning the game, the console, or even tried a scratch remover. It may not be a problem with the game, but I can't be sure.

He's talking about the scene in the beginning of the game when Sin attacks Zanarkand as far as I can tell.
Again, as far as I can say, just try everything Diamond Dust Suggested. If it didn't work, either your PS2's lens is screwed, or your game's DVD.

First time I have heard of this happening, this sounds like a glitch to me. May I suggest borrowing someone else's version of the game to move forward in that particular part in the game, if you know anyone else who has a Final Fantasy 10 copy. This is an epic game it would be a real bummer to get stuck at the start.

I've heard of this glitch/screw up before.
But yeah, the optimal solution would be to borrow one of your friends' DVDs to go over it.
