Yes, the arrow always points towards Threshold. You can use it to navigate in the game so you don't get lost. 1 point.
Question 10: 2 Points
What kind of game (genre) was Halo originally supposed to be?
This one has nothing to do with the actual gameplay so it's worth 2 points since most people probably won't know the answer. If no one gets it by morning, I'll post another question.

The original Halo game was originally intended to be a Third-Person shooter.

Though it is true that at one point Bungie was looking into making it a TPS (Third Person Shooter) that wasn't the original idea.

Ok, now after my quick research, Wikipedia states that Bungie Studios had stated that under a very early development that Halo: Combat Evolved had been intended to be a Real-Time Strategy (RTS)

That's the answer. Halo was originally a game like Starcraft and a lot of the vehicles were actually very similar to today's military vehicles. 2 points.
Here's a Youtube video of the RTS and TPS versions of Halo back when it was still being developed. Link

The Tank form and Brute forms are two of the new forms in Halo 3. The Spider form is called the Stalker form but spider describes it pretty well. The Juggernaut was encoded in the Halo 2 disc but never appeared in any of the games. You have 3 points so far.
Anyone can add the fourth flood form added in Halo 3 and describe how they're special for more points.
