That would be another flop. Can't mix legal with illegal. Its one or the other.

That's why I'm interested in what it's going to be.

Well, Prostreet was supposed to be legal, and carbon was supposed to be illegal but really there wasn't really mush difference (except for the fact that there was no free-roam)
-you could mod both carbon and prostreet -you could enter races
the only differences really was -no crew -no free roam -no cops
now you could, presumably, combine the two, you could make some matches witch had been organised, like race-days and then you could enter illegal races, with cops in them.
but i agree either use the legal (which is cr*p) or use the illegal side of racing. and make the A.I. more competitive, ie trying to ram you of the track, ect. (that would be nice but it'll probably never happen)

You missed out one key fundamental difference, Troodon.
Carbon was an arcade-type racer, ProStreet was meant to emulate simulation.
Also ProStreet had damage, while Carbon did not.
And besides, there are many little changes between the two that amount to a HUGE difference. Summarising it all up by saying "there wasn't really much difference" is completely and utterly incorrect. I'm actually beginning to doubt as to whether or not you have actually played ProStreet, Troodon. No sane person who has played both would say they were more or less the same. It's impossible.

Prostreet is nothing like simulation games. Its a simulation game wanna be. I play GTR 2,which is true simulation. Prostreet has that classic illegal street racing feel and look to it. Even the storyline winks at the roots of NFS. What NFS did was omit the fun by leaving out street racing, cops, and rough, tough rivals.

all EA has to do is make a simple racing game.sector racing, knockout, etc. If they got the tuners taken out of the game and use old style tracks like celtic ruins, snowyridge, hometown, etc would be great.Another idea would be no bodykits,no nitro,or power ups but you can tune the car the way you like.Call it highstakes two, and with ferrari back with ea unless they are charging a ton of money again, with ssc, shelby corbras new and old, other bugatti cars, saleen s7 maybe would be great.Ea should forget about anything that deals with the underground to carbon and bring back cop mode be the cop as well.

Omitting the Tuners, bodykits, etc, and bringing back that primative stuff would be a failure. NFS became interesting and fun when UG1 came out. Prior to that NFS was boring and unrealistic. Keep the Tuners, bright lights cities, customization, including autosculpt. There's no fun in racing a car that has been pre-customized for you. Its fun personalizing cars. To race a car you crafted and perfected is intoxicating.

that is a option but i would not waste a penny on the underground junk.A real car doesn't need to be changed at all.The first 6 is many times better than the UG to Carbon and should not be called NFS maybe FnF 1 to 4.It is sad to think anyone has to work to unlock a car like a civic or even a supra.A corvette doesn't need bodykits nor does a muscle car because they are perfect looking as is unlike the tuner fans where they need to add hood, spoilers and bad bodykits.Would anyone want to rice out a zonda F?True NFS racers who play all the seris before the UG will say driving in woods, moutain, and thru castles with stock cars is the way to go.
