Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock Message Board  

I can do the intro to Through The Fire And The Flames (TTFATF) by DragonForce on Expert using the tapping technique and hopefully after reading this and about 20 mins of practice you will be able to aswell..
For those of you that watched the Youtube video of "Ben" playing in the other topic.. He goes ok for his age, that's for sure..
But he's young, he did it the hard way.
Instead of hitting the pick then having to rush your hand up and in the right spot which is extremely hard when you have it on full speed.. Just;

-Have your fingers already in place.
(Which is left index on green, left middle finger on red then right index finger on yellow,right middle finger on blue and right ring finger for orange)
-Start it off on Expert, Slowest. (To practice)
-Your left index stays on green the entire intro, never release green, for you hit it on the pull-off after every hammer-on you do with your other fingers.
So you start off holding red and green... Hit the pick with your elbow for the first note (red) then the rest is easily picked up. You start learning it instantly. Hit and release every note in sync with the timing and work your way up to full-speed.

Note:
Starting the intro by picking with your elbow is the hardest part out of all of it, believe it or not..
Once you start it and have the rhythm you'll glide through it nice and smooth..

i think guitar hero needs to pick better songs some of them are great like senses fail, in flames, and the fall of troy . others are okay but some are just sorry.

F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X is so good hehe.

Yeah a wish some of the songs from GH2 was on it, especially Rage Against the Machine.
I agree they could have put so many better songs on it but hey, what can ya do right?

There's pretty much only one thing you can do, and thats shred the crap out of the songs your dealt.
