even they're legal to a degree, otherwise there would be mass crackdown on them
yeah, that's what I was trying to say. If you own the game, you're allowed to use emulators for said game (right?) And the same goes for this device for the DS.

Okay, I am listening to this topic and I am really not following it 😵
I am getting the device to be able to check the pokemon that I receive from others to see if they are hacked or created using the pokesav program. This device allows you to move pokemon from the DS game onto the pc and the pokesav program to have a look at it's IV's, and EV's. That is something you can not see on the game itself. If pokemon at level 1 have all maxed out EV's and IV's then it is clearly a hack job.
And besides the device does allow you to play other games that you would never buy, but would like to try it to see if you like it. Alot of games are available, but not every game is available for download for free or even for a price.
I just wanted to know if anyone else had the device already and how they felt about it.
Well everything there is fine, except playing ROMs without owning it, even if you're only going to give it a test run, its still illegal. But I wouldnt worry about it, no one enforces it anyway
