Hard to be a God Message Board  

Is anyone else stuck on this game trying to get in to the North Camp bit after escaping from the Monk people? The sound cuts out on mine when I talk to the bodyguard, but then if I talk to him again he says something about getting wine. Anyone know where to get it from? or how to get in?

I don't have a fix for you and I don't think anyone does right now. Seems to be the main issue right now that you get stuck at that point. You can add a 1 next to g_console in the .ini in the TBB folder and then you can use no_clip 1 to pass that barrier. Talk to the don, get the quest, move back over and turn it off. You can proceed past that but do you also have the problem of not being able to save? Right after you meet the monks and get captured, you lose the ability to save and I just can't figure out a way around that.

I'm trying to find a work around using the console but nothing works yet. You can disable ai but then you cant go to the next map. Going to try just loading the 3rd map and seeing what happens. All this to get a game working. Either this is an unfinished copy or it's just buggy on systems. At least I'm not using vista 64bit or vista for that matter.

Ok it seems that cutscenes break the save feature. I started on arkanar north, got into the city and hit the cutscene and couldn't save after that. Guess it's just a buggy game and I hope someone figures it out. Maybe when it comes live a new release will come out.

I read elsewhere this is a problem with TAGES and the No-CD

well , it could be the problem with either no-cd or the release
if you guys downloaded a reloaded release and applied the no-CD then it could be either the no-cd or releaser , i had that too.
If u download the PROCYON release and mount it with DT pro and dont use any no-CD the game works as a charm , at least it is working real good for me right now.

Too many bugs...

Thanks man! The fix worked like a charm; however, I noticed that the enemies were no longer targeting me. Everyone is green. Is that a result of the editing?

No, that didn't happen to me. Anyway, when I get to North Arkanar and get into the city there is a sequence with the burnt house of Lord X. After that I can't find a way to save the game. I tried everything I could imagine and nothing... Oh, someone said that if you deselect "Read only" on the Profile directory it would save, but it doesn't...

It's a problem with the no-cd; I am playing without it and have gotten to south arkenar without any issues.
