The Golden Warthog is extremely easy to find. All you have to do is open a game on Headlong, and head toward the Banshee spawn. There is a big billboard and the Golden Warthog is there! You don't even have to be on Xbox Live!

It requires a modded xbox and access to certain mod files. Its not available through any normal in-game means.
