The Invicible Mod does not seem to work. Has anyone been able to run the program properly? And if so then I would like to know how. Thanks.

i havent ran this mod before but maybe if you check what version of the game you have and maybe it doesnt work with that version, go on cohfiles.filefront.com and maybe there is a new version which is comaptible with your version of the game.

i have version 1.71 of the game and i'm able to use the invincible mod with no problems.

obviously, read the "read me" after downloading. follow the instructions and make sure to install the mod properly.

here's the thing about the mod... let's say u installed the mod yesterday and ur looking to play the game today. so u pop the company of heroes dvd into the optical drive, it boots up and u click "play". by starting up the game this way, the mod will "NOT" work.

in order for it to work, u "MUST" boot up the game thru the desktop icon. or... if ur one of those ppl who likes a minimal amount of desktop icons, than u "MUST" run the game thru the icon u find when u click 'start', go to programs and so forth. but if u go the route of clicking start, than u have to make sure the icon there has the proper target from the 'read me'.

it's much easier to just have a desktop icon. change the target of the desktop icon to what the "read me" says. and when u wanna play the game, don't boot it up thru the disc itself... boot it up thru the desktop icon.

there u go. working invincible mod!

oh, one thing... the only time the invincible mod doesn't work 100% is when ur units r inside of a building. mortars seemed to kill my ppl inside buildings while being shoot at by regular guns did nothing. if the building gets destroyed, the units inside die. but other than this 1 flaw... ur guys r invincible out in the open.

I have version 2.102 and have read the "read me" before loading the file as well as only starting all of my video games with a shortcut icon of the games.

Now, the only thing I get is a start with no soldiers on the field after uploading the mod.

As a conclusion, it may be due to the versions of the game.

However, if any of you have been able to upload the mod properly even with version 2.102 then I'd like to know how you did it.
