Half-Life 2: Episode Two Message Board  

Ok idk if it is only in my version of the game but all the city's shops or clinics are either written in russian or some language close to it.Like in HL E2 there is a sign at the begining that says something in russian and there have been lots of other similar signs in the previous HL2 series.I just wanna know if it's only my version or everyone's.But it's funny though.Lots of russian things and stuff.

The game is about Gordon Freeman in city 17 (Don't remember) which means that hes on a RUSSIAN TERRITORY. So thats why you see too many Russian letters on the shops,etc.

And i didn't know that city 17 was specifically in Russia but i had my suspicions cuz my country has similar language.And i could read them like "Stacionar" means Clinic or Small Hospital,actually it would mean something like "Doctor".And etc.

I don't get it,its easy to find out that its Russia.

In Russia,we live worse than hell...Even if there is no longer communism,still,we didn't change anything.

Eh well but it's really strange i thought Russia was suppose to be a cold place but instead i see beaches and stuff...

I knew it was russian i just wanted to ask if it's some kind of a version [due to the country i live in] or is it normally like that...
