What everyone means by patch 3.0? There really isn't a patch 3.0, only a Patch 2. I'm guessing that patch's your game to version 3.0. So Patch 2 = version 3.0!

All you need to do is patch it to patch 2.0 and the Trainer should work fine. If your game is still running on the old version, the trainer won't work.
I figured this by making a mistake today, I copied the save files from one computer to another computer and installed the original version onto that computer. Tried running the Trainer and it crashed asking me if I wanted to send Microsoft a report of the error.
At first I thought something was wrong, but I updated the original version to 2.0 and BOOM! Works just fine now.
