I just do not get it my system is perfect for this game. I have downloaded ver 1.0.05, and mega trainer 1.0.05, and the no cd 1.0.05 patch. i have everything installed, but when I use the shortcut for the no cd fix the trainer dose not work. when I use the original shortcut the game crashes. Now I downloaded 7-ZIP for the nocd fix and it replace the files it needed to yet the trainer dose not work. Do I need to redownload the mega trainer 1.0.05 again. It allways tells me it is customizing it to my system. plus I went through all the versions and all the trainers and all of them crash.

Try to press the "Numlock" key, and then press any number on the numpad angain. It should work (at least for my case)

Nope dose not work. I thought these trainers would work, but I have been disapointed so far. Someone needs to take a look at theses trainers agian and try to figure out what is wrong with them. I see too many crashes on the message board. Me personally I have tried everything I can think of to get this game to work with the trainers, all of them! Whoever envented theses trainers needs to set them up on a computer that mets the minimum requirements, because I bet the system he is using is smoking. While I meet the recomended requirements I feel between the system it was made on and the systems it is run on might have an effect on the game. Just a guess mind you.

I am having the same problem. One thing that might be causing it is that I downloaded my version from sierra instead of buying it from the store. I noticed that I also had problems applying the patches (gave me some bogus error about language not being same as installed). I found a link from one of their support forums to patch it. Now i'm showing version 1.0.0.5 (b85). Not sure if this may be the cause of the crashes.

Tell me everything you've tried from the trainer troubleshooting guide and the result of each thing.

Trainers are not like creating a database to hold recipes or something of that nature. They are complex applications that must intercept and alter another game while it's running. In order to do that, the memory addresses must line up perfectly, nothing on your system can be blocking the trainer and you must have the proper permissions in place. Everyone's computer is a bit different and has different software installed on it. Our trainers have nothing to do with meeting system requirements for the game. If you can play the game, then you can run the trainer. Our trainers are tested on several systems before being released, but that doesn't mean they're going to work for everyone. Game publishers spend YEARS working on a single game and as soon as it's released the message boards are filled with people that get crashes and have compatibility problems. Is it the game publisher's fault that everyone has a different configuration? No. All that can be done is create a most common list of problems and solutions and try to gather more informtaion on what you've done to try and resolve the problem and the effects of each thing.

I can't tell you how many times I've received complaints about our trainers not working and it was because the user didn't have their F-lock or numlock key on.

    Hey Chris-
I honestly think it the downloaded version is a different one than the boxed version. Like I said, I couldn't even apply their US patches. I tried all the different languages. Then I found a forum to go to their ftp site and download one of the patches that was titled t1 for the locale. Then only could i upgrade to patch 5. I've used many of your other trainers and have had great experiences. Not sure how many people are running into this issue but I could definitely send you the executable wic.exe for you to examine. Cheers.

Ok here it is with my Nivdia 8800 GTS I have let it choose the 3D application, I have also set it to the advanced 3D image settings, and had it on performance, balanced, and quality. I have set my screen resolution to 1280 by 1024 and set it to 600 by 800 now this is for my monitor only. Now I have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Manchester 1GHz ht socket 939 Dual Core processor operating freq 2.0 GHz. I have3GB ram 184 pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400. Audio I have Sound Blaster X-Fi. I have since loaded windows XP with all the latest updates, graphics updates, processor updates, audio updates. I have had the game graphics set to custom 1280 by 1024 and 800 by 600 also I have set it to high, medium, low, and very low. There is one thing I do notice about it though is I do not see a difference in the graphics while playing the game or the little movies? Now when it crashes it dose it at the same place every time. Here's an example on the second mission where you have to hold the bridge so you can evacuate the civilian’s. As soon as CPT Banner says he being overrun and I send my first artillery barrage the game crashes. It also has the tendency to not letting a mission end, like when I have to take out the sniper and take the gas station when I finally get to the TV Station it will not let me go on from there. When I play the game without the trainer I have no problems with it running. Right now I just have the retail version on my system with the trainer for that version. I have gone through all the game versions and the trainer versions and used all the settings for each one listed above. I have tried undoing the num lock and resetting the num lock. I have tried activating the trainer from the menu and in the game. I have tried activating the num lock keys from the menu and in the game. I have tried putting the trainer in with the game files and not in the game files. I have deleted my cox anti-virus and just diabling it. the one thing I have not done is disabled my Windows XP firewal I have it on recommended. I have tried the no CD fix and still the game crashes. I hope this helps maybe you can see something here that I have missed.

By the way what is an F-Lock I have never heard of it before. The only thing that comes to mind is a dirty word.
