I got the game and intalled it...now when try to play...my player..the one I control...goes all slow

I got the game and intalled it...now when try to play...my player..the one I control...goes all slow and jerky...but the team members are all fast and stuff...the specs is amd dual core with 8800 gts overclocked...and gets in the doom 3 demo test 144 fps...but that wouldn't explain why my person was so slow...and everyone else was fast...This is in single player...campain..

in options klick on "always run"
