what is halo wars gonna be about????

It's about before halo 1 2 and 3 and it's mainly about how the war started between covenant and human's

This is what halopedia says:

"The game's story is told through pre-rendered cutscenes and in-game moments, as with the other Halo games. The game is set in 2531. The game focuses around the Marine forces of the UNSC Spirit of Fire as they engage Covenant ground forces after the discovery of an ancient artifact during a journey to the planet Harvest, the first planet to be attacked by the Covenant. In one in-game screenshot, in the background it shows part of the "Arch" of a Forerunner Installation, meaning that part of the game may take place on a Halo, or similar installation.

It has been confirmed that the Master Chief will not be in the game, although some characters from the Halo games will make appearances."

That should clear up the confusion about this game.

for me i dont care wat the story on THAT game is i just hope it is going to be good.

I'm pretty damn confident that the game will be awesome. But wouldn't the story have to be a good one for the game to be good? I mean, what else is a game about?
