Battlefield 2142 Message Board  

o.k. so the title is exaggerated but the problem is Legit. I have just installed BF2142 and the single player works fine but the multi player does not. I can join the server no problem but can only play for a minute or two b4 i get booted back to the lobby screen where theres a Punk buster pop up. No error msg or descript. My system has Vista, dunno if that'll lead to anything... but yea Hit me Up if you got advise por favor.

spider i had the same problem all you do is run the program as administrator and it works fine. also if you can right click on the shortcut go to properties then click the security tab and allow yourself to fully use 2142.

I found out by patching the game twice that it worked for me and the punkbuster never came up once wit me and i'm running vista home prem on my machine

So the way 2 kick back at punkerbuster is 2 patch the game twice after installing northern strike

worked for me anyway

You can also try by cleaning your cookies. PB is now banning if they find anything in your history that they think is a hack site. Sadly, it's ture. They'll even give you a guid ban for it.

Try updating your game's punkbuster manually!

It dosen't support much games but it does support bf2142. I had the same problem too last time but after this, it helped a lot more better. Try it!

anyone know why PnkBstrB isn't showing up on services.msc?
