does anyone know what buttons are assigned to the keyboard? for example when it says press 5+6 to dodge, what do you do on the keyboard? any help would be very appreciated. thanks.

foward = W
back = S
left turn - A
right turn = D
Camera up = arrow up
down = arrow down
left = arrow left
right = arrow right
action = return/enter
Run = right ctrl
map = M
ready knife = Left SHIFT
ready weapon = right SHIFT
command ashley = F
Status/inventory = I
option = ESC

Yeah, its quite complicated using the keyboard. Maybe you can buy yourself a PC controller to make things a lot easier.

Oh and when your prompt to press 5+6 in order to dodge something etc... then you must press those two buttons repeatedly on the keyboard

doesn't matter i you use the default setting or not.

1 = run
2 = ?
3 = action/ enter
4 = command
5 = ready knief
6 = ready weapon

hey ive had the most trouble with my game because ive never played resident evil on pc. I just got the game yesterday for pc. im up to the part with the boulder and it says it hit 3 and 1 or hit 5 and 6.but leon wont dodge.It says that 3 is my action key such as (hit 3 to take) but my action key isn't three it's enter. This may have to do with the fact that im on my laptop and don't have a number keypad like a desktop would. please help!!!!!

When your prompt to press 3 and 1 or 5 and 6, then it means that you'd have to press both of those keys rapidly at the same time in order to get Leon to run a little faster.

I have the same issue. Only 'Enter' works for '3' 5+6 does not work. This game must have been adapted for PC from a console. I would expect more from Resident Evil. No mouse use etc.

If I only hit 3 repeatedly as fast as humanly possible he gets crushed, but hitting enter repeatedly eventually gets to a prompt to hit 1+3 or 5+6 and that's when I die. I try hitting them repeatedly at superfast speeds and he gets crushed. What fun is it to ruin a keyboard anyway? Hitting a single key repeatedly is boring, and when it's buggy it's downright annoying. Wasn't this game released almost a year ago and still no US patch.
