All types of digimon are there. But most of the time, it's mostly Dark type digimon that you will face.

actually if you want to complete the whole game with 100% quests, then you need to either find to have either done trading or matching 15 times on wifi, or have found the code to replace that. because there is a secret mission for platinum tamers, and to unlock it you need to have beat "Gaia origin challenge", dont the online thing 15 times, and be a platinum trainer, then the union offers you a new mission. the mission isnt anything special, you just have to fight in the platinum tamer tournament, but you wouldnt believe the opponents.
on that note if anyone can find the code i mention can you send it to me, i found it once but forgot to write it down
