Vista Requires you to run the game as system administrator right click on you desktop link for C&C 3 and click run as administrator .This fixed the problem for me hope it helps you.
I've been using several trainer versions made for this game and I noticed that whenever I have a huge battle going on with lots of units battling it out and having my friendly forces in god mode that sometimes my own forces will attack another friendly unit in the group using focus-fire tactics. Anyone else notice this while using these trainers. It's not a big deal but the only way I can stop this is to kill off the targetted unit so my forces can go back to attacking the enemy. I also notice this affects infantry units more than vehicles.
I don't think it is a bug, i think scrin has an option where they can take control of your uint to exact friendly fire. Is that what you mean ?? Especially with that mastermind, not only will it cause friendly fire but you will lose a unit completly. so destroy a mastermind as soon as possible i hate those untis.

I don't know why it says on the box the game only supports Vista-32 when you can clearly run it using the 64 bit version.
