If anyone is still toiling over just how to beat Ironhide while playing as Brawl, I have found a rather easy way to do it, this method relies on one of the games many glitches, so if you are against exploting glitches, read no further.
Located just behind the L shaped building where the fight begins is a small drive way type thing, it does not really lead anywhere all it really is there for is to look fancy, however effectively it is far more valueable than it appears, as this little dip, is just too much for Ironhides tiny brain to understand so for some odd reason when he travels into it, he becomes stuck more or less.
In order to keep him stuck and unable to fire at you simply stand infront of him, back up until you are at about the point where if you fire a heavy round(while in robot mode) it will go down toward the ground as it normally would and hit Ironhide, from that point all you need is time and patience, you don't need to have ironhide targeted either just watch as his Red bar slowly chips away from each shot you fire at him, he will keep on trying to jump out of the hole but will have no luck.
