Hellgate: London Message Board  

hi

i upgrade hellgate to the newest vers. 1.35.44
and downloaded the right trainer

but when i load the game and press F1 at the title screen the program crashes.

any help would be grand

double check the version on the hellgate SP executable and make sure using the correct DX9 or DX10 version of trainer. You can also try the no-cd fix for 1.35.44.

nope no luck

i have the right version and i even tried the nocd fix but it still crashes when i press F1

Something on your system must be incompatible. Antivirus, Antispyware, Vista permissions, etc. Try running the game from the actual exe files instead of the launcher.

It still sounds like a version conflict to me. Yours should look like this pic if using DX9:

all of that is correct (same version and all) but it still dont work im just about upto the stage where ill just give up.

cant wait for an editor like they had for D2 though

you tried any other trainers?, if they work than there is something wrong with the trainer you downloaded from here, or else like pwizard is already saying it looks/ is a version conflict.

Can you please post a screenshot like the one I did for verification? I'd like to see the exe you're using to run the game. BTW -- Did you disable your antivirus and antispyware and make sure you're running the trainer as Administrator?
