I'm playing on a laptop and when i try to run trainers the "F" keys don't work. they don't work on my father's laptop either. both laptops are HP's. Is it just me?
To remedy the problem I'm considering getting a wireless keyboard, has anyone tried this?
Help me out.

you mean F1 F2 F3 etc? Hmmm well wireless keyboard would solve that problem... but personally i would go with a wired keyboard, as i have bad experiences with them, batteries running low every 5 min, not getting contact unless the sensor is half an inch away... (given this was when the wireless technology first came out) but if you go with a wired keyboard, make sure you get one with a USB cable... so you dont get stuck with a PS2 connection (as far as i know VERY few Laptops have a PS2 port... (no im not talking about PLaystation 2)
but back to your problem, if the function keys (F1, F2, F3... F12) dont work on your laptop, easiest is prolly gettig a external keyboard... or asking REALLY nicely for Caliber or Pwiz to make you a special trainer that activates by some other key... but im guessing the external keyboard is more likely to happend

Thanks for the help. I ended up getting a wireless keyboard and it works really well, sometimes the wireless mouse is slow to pick up the signal, but I think wireless technology has definently gotten a lot better.
As for the problem, the keyboard didn't make any difference, however, I tried a different version of another trainer I was trying to get to work, and it works...most of the time (there's sometimes a few glitches). In the mean time, my anti-virus software thinks this trainer is a Trojain. I need to take some time and play around with it and see what happens.
Thanks for the advice.
