Because most people are afraid of change, no one likes to take a new path and see new scenery, they just want to keep seeing the same stuff over and over, thats why there are so many sequels in the video game entertainment media.
Yes this is VERY different from the other EE games but once you give it a chance, it's not that bad.

I got the game a few weeks back, and I find it a waste of money I could of used for something else. Never going to buy another Empire Earth game.
