The free Booster packs I am seeing are saying the new cars are included, and are NOT charging for the cars. I've not downloaded one of those boosters,so I can't be factual.

there is nothing officially released at this point, by EA, for ProStreet, with the name "Booster Pack" in it. PERIOD.
When it does get released, in 2008 (hopefully) like they have stated, it will be called exactly that: "Booster Pack", just like they have released Booster Packs for other games too.
the "Energizer Lithium Extender Pack" is what you're talking about I think, and there is plenty of information about what it gives you on the EA ProStreet website. As for the "Booster Pack" information, most of the information about it comes from interviews with members of EA's ProStreet krew.

Well, i'm sorry Nuck. *Apologizes*
After looking for 20 minutes on EA's stupid Websites which apparently only DEinform, i found the following:
"The game may have shipped last month, but the team has been busy building fresh new content! Extend your Need for Speed ProStreet experience with this FREE download, coming in mid-December to Xbox® LIVE Marketplace, PLAYSTATION®STORE, and the EA Store. The extender pack features two brand new tracks (Leipzig Test Track & Japan's Tokyo Expressway) and additional cars (Plymouth Road Runner & SEAT Leon Cupra)! You'll also have the ability to purchase new high-end dream cars such as the McLaren F1, Aston Martin DBR9, and the Bugatti Veyron 16.4, which is making its video game debut in Need for Speed ProStreet."
I guess that solves everything. EA sucks as usual. I guess this is the first Booster Pack, but there are more to come, but those will apparently cost extra.

It's not a "Booster Pack" at all. EA literally calls their booster packs "Booster Pack" at the end of the title - for a number of different games so far, as they have for a few other games. And it will supposedly have all of the extra cars they have promised with it, as well as the two tracks that are supposedly going to have with it too. But until it's officially out, it's just "hear-say", even though we're hearing it, and EA is saying it.
Case in point though, re "Booster Pack": www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3Aea.com+%22booster+pack%22&btnG=Google+Search

WEll, but Nuck, i found the above stuff on the EA NFSPS Site. And it clearly says they will be sold in 2008. And not be for free. Which is typically EA. But thanks to Rapidshare i won't have a problem with getting them the roundabout way.
