Wow thats nuts $2.00 per car. Man I justed paid $50 for the game and now I have to pay for add ons. Well I will just make it easier for EA and get my pay checks everyweek send to them. Thats like having AOL for the internet when you get it for free.

IIRC, they did the same for Carbon as well. The AE86, Challenger R/T and Pagani Zonda F were all up fro grabs at $2.00 each, for those who didn't have collector's edition.

O.o as i readed on nfsplanet.com there was standing that it will be for free?!
If it will cost money so i don't think that much ppl will buy it. And if it will cost some money what i don't believe , there will be all cars and both tracks inclusive cuz it is called Booster Pack and not one car xD
Quote: NFS ProStreet was already released, but Electronic Arts still adds content to the game. After the ยป Collector's Edition a Booster Pack will be released in mid December, which adds 2 new tracks and 16 new cars to the game - and the best thing is: the download is free!
Booster PackThe Booster Pack contains two new tracks, the Tokyo Speedway and the Porsche Test Tracks in Leipzig, Germany. Additionally the package contains 16 new cars from 13 manufacturers. Among them you'll find the Audi R8, Aston Martin DBR9, Koenigsegg CCX, Plymouth Road Runner, SEAT Leon Cupra, McLaren F1, Honda S2000 and theBugatti Veyron 16.4, which is making its video game debut in Need for Speed ProStreet.
The Booster packs should be available in mid December on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, PLAYSTATION STORE, and the EA Store. In a short video John Doyle, Producer of NFS ProStreet presents the new Booster pack.
But it is almost the end of December so i think they will release it on Christmas.

Thats right Arhey, but so far EA only released 2 Cars. The Seat and a Plymouth i think. So what about the missing 14 cars ?
If they're going to sell them extra, then i most certainly won't get them legally. I don't see, why to pay almost twice the price to get ONE full game.

You get 2 free cars upon download, and you have to buy the other 14 for $2.00 each.

I think that it's kind of dumb that you have to pay extra for a few new cars. especially where already spent 50+ bucks on the game.

The booster pack is a bit less that what you think...
If you have the PC version, go to the game directory and find the folder named "Cars" and in "Cars" folder you can see that there are folders for secret cars to be released in the booster pack, the game files for those cars are present in those folders which means the booster pack is basically some sort of "Enabler" telling the game yes, the player has suffered enough, unlock those damn things and let you have some fun, if not any fun at all...
This "Enabler" could be as simple as a cheat code you put in the CODE ENTRY section, however, a simple cheat code will cost you about $30 dollars since EA is nothing but greedy pathetic losers that just want more and more money, thats why they have a new need for speed every year, each one has worse gameplay than the previous one
